Human-in-the-loop approvals

Futex

A control plane for human decisions requested by software, durably and asynchronously.

Available

What it is

A policy-driven approval engine that lets autonomous systems request a human decision without blocking. Multi-stage approvals, quorum, separation of duties, delegation and escalation are defined per policy, and every action is audited.

Who it is for. Organisations that automate decisions but keep a person accountable for the ones that matter.

What it does

Policy-driven approvals

Multi-stage approvals, n-of-m quorum, separation of duties and escalation on a missed deadline, defined per policy.

Non-blocking

A requester receives an identifier at once and polls or receives a webhook when a person has decided.

Review by email

Reviewers approve, reject, delegate or escalate from a secure link; no dashboard login required.

Delegation and escalation

Out-of-office delegation reroutes tasks automatically; a breached deadline escalates to a senior reviewer.

Durable and audited

Transactional outboxes, idempotent decisions and an audit record of every action with actor and time.

Tenant isolation

Hard tenant boundaries with keys scoped to tenant and principal; fails closed if authentication is unavailable.
