Accessibility Statement
Scope
This statement applies to the website rodmena.co.uk, operated by RODMENA LIMITED (company number 16472788). It does not cover our software products, which are documented separately.
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this website. As a private company we adopt the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as our standard, consistent with our obligations under the Equality Act 2010, and we treat accessibility as a release requirement: changes to this site are checked against WCAG 2.2 AA before they are published.
What we provide
- Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link
- Support for prefers-reduced-motion — the few transitions the site uses are disabled when your system requests reduced motion
- Dark and light themes with text colours chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast in both
- Semantic landmarks and heading structure for assistive technology
- Text that resizes with browser zoom without loss of content or function
- No autoplaying media, no flashing content, no time limits
Conformance status
We believe this website conforms to WCAG 2.2 level AA. Every page passes our automated WCAG 2.2 AA checks (desktop and mobile, dark and light themes) together with manual keyboard checks. Because a formal third-party audit has not yet been carried out, we describe the site as partially conformant until an independent assessment confirms full conformance.
Known limitations
- Every page works without JavaScript. The theme switch and the interactive ecosystem map are enhancements that appear only when scripts run; the map's content is also provided as text.
How we test
Every change to the site is checked with automated accessibility testing (axe-core, using the WCAG 2.2 AA rule set) across desktop and mobile viewports in both the dark and light themes, together with manual keyboard navigation checks. A formal third-party accessibility audit has not yet been carried out; we will update this statement when one has.
Feedback and contact
If you find anything on this site hard to use with assistive technology, or you need information from it in a different format, please email support@rodmena.co.uk, or call or text us on +44 7537 179434 if email is not a practical route for you. We aim to respond within five working days.
Enforcement
If you contact us with an accessibility concern and are not satisfied with our response, you can seek advice from the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), which enforces the Equality Act 2010 in England, Scotland and Wales.
