Privacy Policy

Effective date: 19 July 2026 (supersedes the version dated 1 January 2025)

1. Introduction

RODMENA LIMITED ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use this website or contact us, and the rights you have over it.

We are the data controller for the processing described here. Our registered office is 14 Keppel Row, America House, Flat 2, London, England, SE1 0FB (company number 16472788).

For mobile applications: if you are using any of our mobile applications, please refer to the mobile-specific privacy policy at rodmena.app/privacy.html.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Contact details (name, email address, company name) when you email us or use the contact form — which opens your own email client; nothing is submitted to this website
  • The content of your correspondence with us

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Standard web-server logs on our self-managed servers: IP address, requested URL, time, browser user-agent. We use these solely for security monitoring and operations, and they are routinely rotated and deleted.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies of any kind on this website.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Legitimate interests: responding to enquiries, operating and securing our website and business
  • Contract: taking steps you request before entering a contract, and performing contracts
  • Legal obligation: where we must keep records or comply with the law
  • Consent: where you have explicitly given it (you may withdraw it at any time)

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your enquiries and manage our business relationship
  • To provide, secure and improve our services
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: business correspondence for as long as we have an active relationship or a legitimate need to retain it; server logs for a short rolling period; and records we must keep by law (for example accounting records) for the statutory period.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who support our operations, listed as sub-processors on our Trust Centre
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) under confidentiality
  • Authorities where disclosure is required by law

7. Third-Party Content Delivery

This website's pages are rendered on our own server and its React libraries are served from our own domain, so no third party is involved in producing the page you are reading. Your browser does still load some open-source styling assets from third-party content-delivery networks: jsDelivr (Bootstrap), Cloudflare cdnjs (Font Awesome), unpkg (AOS) and Google Fonts. Those requests expose your IP address and user-agent to the respective provider, as with any web resource your browser fetches. These services set no cookies on this site. We are working towards self-hosting the remaining assets to remove even this exposure.

8. International Data Transfers

We are UK-based. Where a service provider processes data outside the UK (for example GitHub, Inc. in the United States for source-code hosting), transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. The CDN providers above operate globally distributed infrastructure.

9. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data rectified
  • Have data erased ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@rodmena.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

10. Security Measures

We apply proportionate technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit (TLS) for all services, least-privilege access to systems, hardened self-managed infrastructure, and minimal data holdings. Our security posture and responsible disclosure route are published on our Trust Centre.

11. Cookies and Local Storage

This website sets no cookies — first-party or third-party — and uses no analytics or tracking. The only browser storage we use is a single localStorage entry ("theme") that remembers your dark/light preference. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings. Because we use no non-essential cookies or trackers, this site shows no cookie banner.

12. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

13. Third-Party Links

Our website links to external sites (for example GitHub, LinkedIn, Companies House). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
